Track and Field is not a lucrative sport with million dollar contracts like baseball or football; even six-figure contracts are rare. Thus, local and community support makes a huge difference.

And a difference it will make for Hilary during her current training stint at home in Canada. John Gibbons car dealership in Chatham, home to many of Hilary's family members, handed over the keys to one of their 2009 vehicles to help her get around while she's living and training in the area in preparation for the Canadian National Championships at the end of the month.

"I'm so grateful to everyone at John Gibbons for their support and really appreciate their shared passion for helping our Canadian athletes, we need more local companies like them."
